I buy high-end motorcycles that are in near mint condition. I only buy off of Craigslist in all cash deals. I only buy if the price is at or below the LOW (URL removed) value for the motorcycle.
I take better photos. Write better ads. Then resell the bike back on Craigslist for cash only. Because I buy from sellers who need cash quick (moving, debt, wife wants them to sell, etc) I have been profitable on every single transaction. There is no reason for me to sell a near mint bike for less than the average NADAguide value. And I have the advantage of being able to hold onto a bike for a few weeks until a cash buyer at my price is found.
