Description:
Fortune One Automotive
March 13, 2011 Dear Sir, Allow me to introduce our company. We are Fortune One Automotive, a green technology research and development company. We hope that the following will answer some of your basic questions. We have leap-ahead electric car technology systems that significantly extend the driving range of any electric car or truck making clean electric vehicles viable and extremely affordable for most drivers. The potential market for this technology is worldwide due to its adaptability to all present production electric vehicles. With the combination of our systems integrated into an aerodynamically correct electric car specifically designed around those technologies, we estimate a minimum of 450-mile drive range on a single charge.
Here is our story so far:
1. Fortune One Automotive is a South Carolina LLC with a defensible patent through the national firm of Woodcock Washburn. Our patent attorney with 20 years experience (and also another degree in Mechanical Engineering) stated, “This is simply the best thing I have ever seen come across my desk.” He worked with us diligently for a year without a retainer fee.
2. We have lab-tested and road-tested Ford Mustang prototype that has proven our technology. 3. We have a letter of certification for our technology from a 3rd party professional engineering firm
of Carolina Engineering Solutions who have personally witnessed the capabilities of our technology.
4. Fortune One has obtained letters of support from former U.S. Energy Secretary Dr. James B. Edwards and NC Congressman Heath Shuler plus NC Senators Richard Burr, Kay Hagan, NASA Engineer, EV Engineers Ampmobile, and WNCU.
5. In early March we met with officials from ARPA-E (Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy) at the Energy Department. They were extremely interested in our technologies. As a result, they are setting up a meeting with the director of the Vehicle Technologies Program who currently has $184M in grant funds available.
Given that “Innovation without implementation has no value” (Tim Solso, American Energy Innovation Council) and guided by our strong entrepreneurial spirit, we are seeking support from the private sector. We are very confident that you will find it well worth your time to investigate our technology, not only in terms of a potential business opportunity, but also as a chance to be a key player in fulfilling our vision of an energy independent America. We feel this is a unique investment opportunity, and we look forward to the time when we can discuss this further.
