This is an offer for an equity stake in an algorithmic trading strategy that is 100% hand off for the investor. This strategy is a mean reversion, high frequency trading strategy trading one product at the moment, E mini S and P 500 (CME: ES). This has been forward tested using live CME exchange data since 10-22-2015 with very good success. The next step in the implementation process is to purchase a server and work with a clearing firm and HFT consultant for low latency connectivity.
The barrier I face is the account requirement at the clearing firm to trade DMA (direct market access), as this strategy will trade direct to the exchange matching engine bypassing any broker. As a result, the clearing firm requires (an industry standard) $300 k deposit in the account of which the strategy would only use $50k in margin.
I have the technology relationships and the trading background (Ive worked in high freq trading for 4 years). If the adequate capital to purchase the necessary technology, this strategy will profit quite easily with no involvement needed from the investor.
