I am looking for start up capital. I Have worked as a CNC ( computerized numerically controlled ) programmer, trainer, and operator for many years with computerized routers. I would like to start a urn business. I feel the key to manufacturing something is to manufacture something that requires little material and overhead that sells for many times more than it costs to produce. What would set me apart from others would be my knowledge of these machines and available software's. I would personalize the urns by incorporating imagery technology using lasers to engrave the picture of the person or pet that has passed away. I have done a great deal of solid surface work and have found a way to fold this material. Making sanding minimal. I know of software that can scan a picture and convert it into readable program for the laser I would use. A laser CNC and a router CNC and the necessary software. for programming.
