Description:
Novus is a model production facility that is centered around the production of limpids extracted from algae. Algae is the highest per volume producer of limpids or vegetable triglycerides, which can be used as either a food source or for the production of biofuels.
With our controlled processing we are able to produce quantities of algae that have not been achieved in closed tank or raceways before. The system is able to be harvested every 24 hours, thus reaching our projected capacity in the model we have constructed. This system is capable of producing 35,000 gallons of vegetable oil per day on a consistent 24 hour cycle. We have had discussions with five refinery groups that entailed our establishing a landed price of two dollars per gallon at the manifold head. Both groups are willing to sign two or five year contracts for all of our production up to 200 million gallons per year. Our intent is to establish the systems viability within a radius of the refining locations which do not load an onerous transportation cost per gallon, with the refineries responsible for transport to their facilities. The cells consist of a basic structure. Each is designed to be able to expand out to 10 cells within the footprint with a production capacity of in excess of 150,000,000 gallon capacity per unit. The basic structure per cell is a laboratory which produces the mother spoor and controls the quality of feedstock and waste management. Growth and production of the oil and products from the waste, storage and dispensing of product at the manifold head.
