OVERVIEW
This is the eighth year in start up and mine preparation. The permit is about complete and has been assigned the Office of Surface Mining (OSM) number MT –0020 A(B,C,D). I owe OSM the drawings to be signed off, one under burden test for acidity and $ 15,000. That puts the permit in place for 80MM tons of high-grade coal to be mined. I have accounts already in place and will secure purchase orders/contracts after having the financing and permit ready to go. On average, most mines take seven to eight to start up. The permit will be good for 20 years with a five-year review at each instance.
