Ehrlich Edge aims to be a training and placement academy. Given the well documented demand for healthcare support staff in the US, Europe & the Middle East, we aim to train Indian professionals for these roles and place them appropriately.
EHRLICH EDGE, a finishing school for medical technologists aims to equip them for leadership and international employment. This will facilitate placement in top notch institutes in US, Europe and the Middle East. The revenue stream for EHRLICH EDGE will be through training fees, placement fees and sale of teaching material globally. The estimated NPV of the project in 5 years time is USD 11 million; funds required to start the venture is USD 400,000.
Huge demand for healthcare support staff in the US, and similar societies: The United States and other western countries are facing a severe shortage of well qualified healthcare support staff. Statistics from the Department of Labor put the demand for lab techs alone at more than 300,000 ; the Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that there will be about one million new job openings for registered nurses by 2010? and that?s three years before the Baby Boom generation begins to retire. Employment of physical therapist assistants and aides is expected to grow by 29 percent over the 2006-16 decade, much faster than the average for all occupations.
