The Bluebird Amphitheater is a new outdoor venue for family oriented entertainment in the hills of Appalachia. We would like to comission an outdoor drama based on the lives of local Civil War heroes, featuring music, singing and acting. We wish to develop several different plays based on the three branches of the family to insure return visits througout the season and the years. The amphitheater has been in operation for one season. It is owned by a private individual and is completely paid for. A foundation is being set up to run the theater upon the passing of the patron. A restaurant, toy museum and gift shop is also on the premises, and is located next to the county airport.
