My business partner, Ted Risk, and I are opening a craft lager brewery in downtown Longmont. We have recently signed a lease and plan to open in the first quarter of next year. We are seeking to raise $1,500,000 in private placements and have a business plan and a private placement memorandum available for your review if you are interested in hearing more.
The craft beer industry is experiencing unprecedented growth. Over the past 10 decades, craft beer has averaged double digit growth by volume and sales. The vast majority of craft beers that are produced are ales. We will be producing craft lagers which take twice as long to make, are fermented and conditioned at colder temperatures and yield a more mature product.
I have been brewing professionally for 7 years, most recently at Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon. Ted has been managing a health club that has grown from a start up to a city wide chain in Chicago for the past 6 years. Our respective skill sets coupled with the differentiated product we will bring to the thriving craft beer industry provides Wibby Brewing a competitive advantage that will lead to future success.
