Description:
Sophia Healing Center LLC is a newly re-opened Community Center located in the Lower Haight neighborhood of San Francisco. It is comprised of a Yoga/Meditation/Dance Studio, Two Healing/Massage Rooms, and a Garden Sauna and Hot Tub. Sophia Healing Center aims to be more than a place to host classes, healing retreats, and workshops. Our initiative is to become an affordable provider of Holistic Health Care that benefits our Community.
SHC will offer massages by in-house practitioners and rent a beautiful space to qualified masseuses. By offering our environment to community teachers, we hope to not only add to our revenue, but to help healers provide the best care to their clients. In utilizing Sophia Healing Center for their session, they and their clients will have access to the Garden Sauna and Hot-tub, the changing area, and other Sophia resources. This will optimize their client’s experience of healing.
In the next 6 months, SHC will also market and sell: healing retreats, holistic health care yoga retail products, multi-cellular healing, holistic beauty services, Reiki and other energy healing services. Its immediate focus is on building its membership/donor base, and in selling access to its Garden facilities. Membership will be a critical component of SHC’s success.
SHC will be filing for non-profit status by the end of the next fiscal year. While we desire that our teachers and practitioners can earn their livings, we want the focus of Sophia Healing Center to be sustainable community building.
