Description: The following is a brief plan for the operation and marketing of a start‐up laser tattoo removal clinic located in San Antonio, TX.  The competition in San Antonio is a nearly untapped with only 3 competitors performiong tattoo removal as a primary source of revenue, while the need for the service is one of the highest in the country according to Google Trends. The average city of its size has 20 or more clinics and medspasThere’s a strong demand for removal services: 29% of the U.S. population has a tattoo, with 23% of those having tattoo regret. The tattoo industry is growing 440% in the last ten years. Along with that, there’s a rising trend ofmore and more shops opening up with inexperienced artists delving out bad tattoos. Or for instance the Tinker Bell tattoo was cute when they were 19, but now at 40 and they want it removed.. As the popularity of tattoos grows, so does the need to have them removed. MARKETING APPROACH In an effort to increase awareness of the clinic, a Google AdWords Service will be employed to drive traffic to the company’s website.  Also, an advertising campaign will be employed partnering with local tattoo shops and military recruiting offices. Strong community outreach initiatives will follow, including but not limited to: participation in and sponsorship of philanthropic events, working with the VA Hospitals to provide low/no-cost removal treatments for returning veterans, tattoo conventions and booth rentals at Women’s, Bridal, and Beauty expos.  The goal is to integrate the clinic into the community, to have customer service driven business and to differentiate whenever possible. OPERATIONS AND EQUIPMENT In order to clinically remove tattoos properly, a a high quality tattoo removal laser is needed. Our market and technology research resulted in selection of the Astanza Trinity Laser system which meets the quality results our clients will be looking for. . The Trinity Laser is accompanied with the needed support and marketing partnership from Astanza, a globally focused organization with clients worldwide. Astanze boasts a 96% client satisfaction and success rate. For clinic operations, location, furniture and basic office supplies are required. The office furniture, laser equipment, commercial lease and supplies brings total capital required before launch to a very manageable $180-$200k depending on commercial lease down payment. With conservative client demand, our projections indicatea breakeven point on monthly expenses can be obtained in less than two months. The avg treatment cost is $180-$200 and takes an avg 5-10 treatments making an avg customer value at $1400. INVESTMENT REQUEST I do not have any issues getting up to $200k. Where I am looking for help is the very early stages of 1-6 months. I don’t have to capital on hand to start a $2500-$3k a month payment on a $180k+ loan. Even if the $180k+ is not available in whole for you, I have other sources available to get that amount and where I would need help is those first few months with a $3k a month payment. If it is available a delayed payment system to get things rolling would be best. I am also going to be selling my house in Wylie, TX which I have about $70k in equity.   The return back to you could be in several ways; used as a loan with interest and paid back in a specific length term, percentage in the company’s first location until ready to exit if wanted, long term percentage of the company’s entirety etc. The goal is to dominate the San Antonio market and branch out from there with a 2nd location, within 48 months, in Corpus Christi which is another top ranked city on Google Trends. The ultimate goal would be 2-3 locations in Texas and an expansion into Florida within 5 years. The beach scene is a good area with everyone in bathing suits half of the year. I can share more about myself and the business if interested. Thanks Ryan
