The atmosphere will be fun and engaging. The focus of this bar is to offer superior customer service, delicious food, and a variety of beverages. Our guests will consist of local residents in the surrounding area, friends, family, sports fans, young and middle aged professionals (URL removed) concept of the bar is to have a “Tim Burton”style ambience. I believe having this unique theme will drive sales and bring guests from all over the city and state to our bar. I believe that this concept could possibly become a franchise in the future. The building itself has about 5,000 square feet of space to be used and 3 levels with a roof top patio. The features the bar will include (but not limited to): First floor small restaurant style bar area with food and drink services, possibly a small dance floor with music supplied by a DJ or live band and/ or an mp3 player (ie: ipod). Second floor would include a lounge area with food and drink service that would also offer houka’s (a flavored Turkish tobacco usually smoked out of a multi-piped water based pipe or vase). This area could also be used for VIP table services. Third floor would be where private parties can be held for an additional price (roof top patio can be used for this as well or included with the third floor) that will included food and drink services for the guest. Lastly the roof top patio services would include private party events (ie birthday’s, social event’s, etc). Product/Services: The products and services that my company will offer are out of this world customer service and experience. I will be providing food and drink as such as flat bread pizza's, various wing flavors, small plate appetizers, and a breakfast menu all day on certain days of the week. Specials menus will be offered for events according to the style of event held and will also feature signature dishes made by the Head Chef of the company. As for drinks, the company will provide a wide range of bottle beer, draft beer, and craft beer along side with rail drinks and top shelf liquors. Signature and special drinks will be offered according the style of events held. Target market: The target market of the bar would include guests between the ages of 21-40. The area I want to build this bar is located in downtown Baltimore MD. A city that is growing fast with young, single and married professionals in the immediate and surrounding locations. Management: Ryan Nastick: Owner and Founder of Down The Rabbit Hole. His background knowledge of the restaurant/bar business of five years and willing to learn more as he grows into a young businessman. His military background and veteran status plays a huge roll in being a business owner, team player, and hard worker. Bouba Cisse: Co-owner and partner of Down The Rabbit Hole. He is a young professional with background knowledge of customer service within the insurance industry. His talents in these fields would be a great asset to the company. Erin Brooks: Co-owner and partner and bartender of Down The Rabbit Hole. She is a young professional with a background in customer service within the hospitality and hair service industry would play a good role with guest experience and the overall feel for the company. Customer(s) and Customer(s) Experience: The target demographics of the area are young new families and singles of the middle class range. Growth rate of the area is growing each year by 10% or more. Sales/Marketing strategy: The way I would acquire and maintain the guests of Down The Rabbit Hole is by first printing off and passing out flyers and business cards, radio announcement, newspaper articles, and a huge social networking launch via Facebook and Twitter. I will also included new specials and events monthly via social network. I will offer products and services that bring the guests to the bar and in turn their word of mouth will attract new patrons.
