Core Audio Technology sells integrated fully digital audio products that provide a totally new approach to system installation, sound quality, versatility and simplicity.
Consumers, audiophiles, and recording engineers have systems that are just too complicated. They have 5-8 components ranging from DVD players, CD Players, processors, preamplifiers, amplifiers, to cables, conditioners, and servers. It's a congested mess of complexity, a challenge to use, sounds mediocre, and really has little wife acceptance factor because they can't even figure out how to turn the thing on.
Our system, the Harmony System, replaces all of those components with a single box. This system has no cables aside from those used to connect a set of speakers, is remote controllable from an iPad from anywhere in the world, and can play Netflix, HDTV/DVR, blu-ray movies, Streaming audio, reference audio playback, spotify, gaming, and has the framework for home automation. This allows customers to have access to over 12M songs, watch tv, and movies, all at reference-level sound quality. The device is modular and fully upgradeable to keep customers returning for upgrades and expanding their system capabilities.
If the simplicity wasn't enough, our entry-level system costs $2500 and competes with systems in the $25,000 range due to our proprietary power supply technology and integration in the digital domain (no analog). Systems increase in price as high as $13,500 with higher-end system designs in the works.
We are seeking $250,000, which will allow us to automate our production system, expand our team of licensed distributors, build inventory, and have cash reserves for R&D and future growth.
