Mad Man Entertainment is an independent record label created in collaboration with AWGE/Interscope Records signee Smooky MarGielaa with an aim of reshaping the traditional practices of the recording and entertainment industries. Our public release is August 20th, and our debut recording single will be released the following week.
Record labels shouldn’t unfairly take ownership of royalties from an artist’s entire career the way they do today, but rather, they should act as a stepping stone of becoming successfully independent. It’s well documented that independent artists make more money per stream than signed artists, however, if their work never gains any traction, they obviously won’t come anywhere close to the numbers produced by a signed artist. At Mad Man Entertainment, we offer an ideal solution; exposure, connections, and guidance that will carry an artist for the rest of their career, as well as allowing them to retain ownership of their work at our deal's end.
