Good Afternoon,
I am currently working on a concept to create a condensed hydroelectric dam small enough to power an individual home or business. This concept will compete with the primary alternative energy sources of wind and solar, and bring hydroelectricity back to the forefront of clean energy production.
Hydroelectiricty was one of the energy sources that helped power America and the world, but once the negative environmental impacts were discovered, hydroelectricity was considered a negative energy technology and not a clean and beneficial energy source, even though it is completely natural.
This concept would produce energy 24/7 and would produce enough energy to power an average american home over the course of a year. The device would be positioned on a home-site, reducing the loss in energy when transmitting energy across long distances. It could be powered by the rain, or a municipal water source and would not be affected by the weather like wind and solar. This concept can bring hydroelectricity back to the forefront of clean energy production, and allow individual home and business owners to produce a constant flow of clean energy at thier home 24 hours a day.
