Description: We are a tent and party rental store doing business in the DFW Metroplex and also travel in the state of Texas. The business has existed over 25 years and I and my husbandhave been owner since 2001. Our customers include caterers (two of the biggest in the area use us exclusively), event planners, hotels, and individuals, with weddings being a big part of the individual clients. We have grown the business over the past several years, with this year sales expected to be approx $850K and projecting $1 million next year. Since buying the business, we have invested in new inventory (tents, china, staging, linens, etc.) and have never had a great cash flow. Because of the purchases, we have always been tight on cash. This year has been rough because of truck breakdowns, replacing air conditioning and other such unforeseen expenses. While we are confident the business is growing in the right direction, we need capital for ongoing expenses and continued growth.
