My wife and I are preparing to open a N.Y. style deli. I had a deli for ten years in a different city in Florida. We will make everything from scratch and all of our own cheesecakes and specialty cakes. My wife has been a cake decorator for more than ten years now. We have found a location in a strip center that the owner has taken very good care of. With all things factored in, including paying back the loan of $8500.00 in a year our daily break even point is $225.00 dollars a day based on a 6 day work week.
