Description: Recycling Equipment Do not go to landfills with this Toxic material Norman Safety Products L.L.C. 252 Montecito Terrace St. Peter’s Missouri 63304 Norman safety business plan Norman Safety is a new company founded in August of 2007 for the purpose of inventing patenting and building an environmental safe system for disposal of burned out light bulbs. This equipment is used to recycle hazardous lamps specifically designed to produce radiant energy, most often in the ultraviolet, visible range. Example: fluorescent, high intensity discharge neon, mercury vapor, high pressure sodium, metal halide, and compact florescent lighting, and (CFL’S) used in general household lighting. These products have been classified as universal waste by EPA due to their mercury content and should not be placed in landfills. Mission • Obtain grant funding, Angel Investor, Or Partner in the amount of $20.000. Dollars. • Complete mercury vapor testing on all designed equipment by a certified Hygienist and record said finding. The tests would provide certification to all parties, proving that all equipment is safe for operation at the time of delivery. • NSP field representative to further test said equipment pry to going into operation after delivery. Provide the end user with yearly test results that says equipment remains safe. • Build and market 100 unites to be sold to retailers such as Home Depot, Lowe’s. Sears, Target and other retailer. To include a recycling program that would allow the consumer to return the bulbs back to the retailer for recycling. That the cost for recycling the bulb is built into the cost of buying the bulb thus increasing sales for the retailer and giving the consumer a safe disposal for the spent mercury waste. • Allow this system to be in operation for one year, and be Evaluated BY THE MANUFACTOR, RETAILERS, and FUNDING AGENT AND THE ENVIROMENTIAL PROTECTION AGENCY. • Norman Safety company funding charts show the company self financed at the end of the first year of Operation. This goal being realized; • Norman safety would then market the products nationwide plus Seven European Countries where we hold patents. • Norman safety main objective is to stop this heavy metal from reaching our landfills and water supply systems worldwide. There is estimated to be 300,000,000, million households in the US in 2008. If each of these households used (5) CFL’s bulbs per year, would equal 1,500,000,000. 1,500,000,000 BULBS TIMES 4.5 MG OF MERCURY = 6,750,000,000 MG OF MERCURY PER YEAR. >>>>>>>>>>>>>1000 MG = 1 GRAM 454,000 MG = 1 P0UND.>>>>>6,750,000,000 MG DIVIDED BY 454,000 = 14,867 POUNDS (OR) 7,434 tons per year of this toxic material going to our landfills. Collect: Condense: Confinement: OF this HAZARDOUS Material Can Be Contain FOR Up To One Year, While Waiting TO BE Recycled.
