My company is woman owened. It is focusing on transportation. It saw the need for scarcity of women in the trucking business and since the mining sector should also comply with the broad black based Economic Empowerment it will be good opportunity if provided to penetrate the mining sector as a women, and willing as a member of the government organisation called South African Women In Transport (SANWIT) initiated by the Director General Mpumi Mpofu would like to empower other women who are in the same organisation. The challenge that is being faced at this stage is securing the direct contract due to the lack of funds. Hence pleading for the support and financial help.
