Good day. Hope that you are well . i need an investor to invest in my business idea that will work in my area for 2 reasons. A PETTING ZOO. ( 1 ) The location ( 2 ) The Numbers. 1 ) I have identified the perfect piece of vacant land that is close to the residential area . It is about 50 hectares big which is big enough for the petting zoo and to start a small farming business producing vegetables and animal feed at a latter stage. There is also a small stream running through the property. 2 ) My target market will be primary school children . An income will be generated by charging an entry fee as well as profit from the shop that will be in the park. There are more than 300 primary schools with 1000 to 1200 learners per school in a 30 kilometre radius, with no petting zoos or similar entertainment parks. I will need about 40 of these school to attend ONCE a year to cover all my overheads . This is about 13% of the schools. This will be about 4 schools per month. This is excluding the other 260 schools / pre schools / high schools / Parents and the rest of the public. An excursion will cost a learner less that $14 . This will include the entrance fee / Food / Transport and the schools admin fee. An investment amount of $ 450 000 will be needed at this stage. This will be enough to purchase the land and erect all the buildings needed so that the petting zoo can operate 100%. The farming sector will start a little bit later.
