Description: THE ULTIMATE ATLANTA DESTINATION, LANDMARK AND ICON Introduction Atlanta is a first class international destination without a real “destination”. According to CNN Money and Penske, Atlanta is the “number one city people are moving to” for the fourth year in a row, and the third ranked tourist destination in the U.S. (51 million annual visitors – 9 Million more than Vegas). Analysts project our population swelling to 8 million by 2022. People are pouring into Atlanta from all over the world (Nearly 1 million foreign born residents). We are seeking civic minded investors, in tandem with city and state governments, and numerous local stakeholders to build a 275,000 square foot indoor internationals street market in the thriving West Midtown, 2.6 miles from downtown Atlanta. Atlanta International Street Market (AISM) is a space where vendors from many lands can sell their wares. Anthony Bourdain compared it to the classic “Asian style hawker centers”, in his best seller ‘Medium Raw’. He proposed “This institution is way overdue for an appearance on a large scale in America. Imagine scores of inexpensive, one chef, one specialty businesses; basically food stalls clustered around a court of shared tables, along cobblestone and brick roads in culturally and architecturally accurate indoor city. Eight streets (China, India, Middle East/Africa, South Asia, Europe, South America/West Indies, Central America, and USA) representing different regions of the world, their food, art, shopping, and entertainment. With our enormous Asian (over 225K) and Latino (over 180K) population alone there is no reason why we can’t we have Di Pi Dong? – Literally Big Sign Street, the Chinese version of the indigenous food courts like they do in Hong Kong. And the hawker centers of Singapore and Kuala Lumpur; or food streets like in Hanoi and Saigon; and the open to the air wet taco vendors and quesadilla makers of Mexico City. Food preparation areas will be enclosed, so sanitation is hardly an unsolvable impediment. Authenticity, artisanship, affordability, freshness and an incredible unheard of variety, all under one roof. We are very fortunate to have this as part of our future. Market and feasibility studies projects that we will surpass $200 million in annual revenue by FY2, a valuation in excess of $700 million by FY5 with strong cashflows, high profits, and scalability to other major cities. Projected liquidity and profitability warrants an exit for investors by FY5. Six times the size of a Super WalMart, punctuated by a 340 foot clock tower (naming sponsor revenue), and resting on one of the highest elevations, AISM will be the most identifiable, iconic landmark and destination in the City of Atlanta.
