I seek to borrow a seed loan of $18k to $25k so that I may utilize this as a down payment of 30% for an SBA, US Government Guaranteed, low interest Bank Loan of $70k. I will search Texas Business Brokers to purchase a working Texas Business or, a Turn-Key Operation that has dedicated employees in place and running the operation. Every now and then, a lively little prosperous business opportunity will "pop up" then will be snatched up by a prepared shrewd business person. I have seen this many times after perusing "Business For Sale" NewsPaper Classifieds, as a pass time of interest. This little "TX Jewel" is normally for sale by an owner due to; ill health, wishing to retire, owner death, divorce, partner disagreements or, siblings cannot or will not run the business. This is the type of business I plan to be ready for and buy within 4 months. The business can range from a washateria, carwash, convenience store, beach side souvenir shop, a small neighborhood bar/cafe/restaurant with family atmosphere, a small town postal center, a small manufacturer, a small quick food shop, a small prosperous cell phone shop, there are many more businesses like these that come and go, and that just within 3 months of daily exposure and training, I can run the operation.
I am a bright and optimistic Hispanic that is weary of seeking a good paying job. I have many years experience in different business skills. I have a US Government Guaranteed low interest VA Housing Loan Certificate I never used and will be my basis for an initial SBA application. I am a Vietnam-Era US Air Force Veteran and volunteer of 12 yrs as a US Army Reservist. Providence has passed me by, subtle racial bias has kept me from many job opportunities. This is a major reason for my job losses, unemployment and thereby, less than good credit of not being able to pay my expenses. If anyone has claim to say they have been through rough times, even though the going was good for many but, were still hanging in there; that's me. I've been humiliated many times but, I still have my personal integrity and self respect. This is the reason that I will succeed at a profitable business. I know how to be tactful to customers as I have been mistreated many times. My personal integrity will win the trust of customer relationships. I have known poverty, abject failure, and many mistakes. I know how to avoid mistakes and how to focus on being a success. I have acquired through years of education and experiences a flexible skill set that I utilize as being resourceful in tactfully resolving daily circumstances with beneficial outcomes.
