Aeforia, LLC is a subsidiary of New York based Activation Media, LLC and is pioneering a ground-breaking, interactive storytelling experience for tween girls. Aeforia will engage tweens in the first truly immersive, interactive storytelling adventure that will be delivered through a proprietary platform. The interactivity that is core to the Aeforia experience will combine physical and real world elements through “augmented reality” (“AR”). Through AR the information about the surrounding real world of the user becomes interactive, digitally usable and experientially augmented. Longer-term, this platform will be extended into the first proprietary closed-end ecosystem that is based on a content property. Initial focus groups conducted by tween research expert Smarty Pants (whose clients include Disney, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Hasbro Toys among many others) indicate that Aeforia has the potential to be the “next big thing” for tweens.
