Description:
(URL removed) allows any document to be signed online.
To use it, simple upload a PDF (or Word, excel, image...), drag in "sign here" stickers using your mouse, tell us the recipient and set any optional security settings and you're done. We'll email the signor to login, sign the document using their mouse, and send you back a legally-binding signed PDF.
In addition to PGP and the latest security, (URL removed) has some significant improvements over competing products in the nascent online document signature space. Please see the product demo movie at (URL removed). A signature in the physical world imparts two things: identity and agreement. We believe verification and enforceability of identity will be of paramount importance.
A full executive summary is available to qualified investors. We're seeking late angel round or a conservative Series A. Use of funds will be about 1/3rd for code and development 2/3rds for client acquisition ramp-up, primarily online through innovative marketing. We do recieve a viral lift, and have a social component to the system. This social component provides a unique barrier to entry and user-generated security benefit as well as patentable security produce innovations. This will lead to an unprecedented confidence that profile X is truly accessible only to User X, which we expect to be useful for more than just signature several years out.
A common question is how this compares to the competing services, of which Docusign and Echosign are the leaders. First, we cover all they do, but with a much more robust approach to verification of identity. In addition, this entire market is still very early stage, with only about 45,000 searches per month on google for the dominant phrase "electronic signature"; in perspective "business marketing" has 10x at 500k; a phrase like "real estate" has over 101 million. We believe the $35Bil (extrapolated from savings; probably a 20 year envelope before significant erosion) electronic signature market is 3%-4% developed and thus any lead still not significant to final dominance. Last, while not a defensible advantage long-term, our API system should provide greater options for rapid initial growth within key marketing communities.
The company is at proof-of-concept phase run by CEO Roger Vetruba, founder of (URL removed). Roger is a UI/UX designer, project manager, and senior marketer with a sales background, with light coding abilities. Other key staff includes Rojit Jain (business analyst, in LA), Dmitry Semonov (sr. coder, russia), Siddhartha Bajaj (flash guru).
(URL removed) is an exciting opportunity to make a global impact financially and ecologically. We believe even in the worst economy, demonstrated cost savings over paper and competing options will allow rapid company growth with an attractive exit for all parties via (most likely) sale to larger players (e.g. Cisco) or even IPO (unlikely in current form, but with related technology aggregation it could be appropriate).
