Over the last three years at working as a contractor I have accumulated a fairly large customer base. I have been approached by Virginia's largest TV news station and they are interested in sponsoring my company as the local Contracting Company for this area. This will bring in tremendous revenue for the company allowing the company to grow. 1. How will SRB be different from other local contractors? SRB Construction & Management Co. will eliminate a slow season by doing snow removal in Virginia and other northern states which will prevent a time when contractors are at a slow point. By Debbie Messina The Virginian-Pilot © November 23, 2010 After last year's severe winter storms strained its resources, the Virginia Department of Transportation has boosted its snow- and ice-clearing budget by about 30 percent, to $115 million. In the Hampton Roads district, the budget nearly tripled, to $5.2 million from $1.8 million. The state spent $266.8 million statewide last year on snow operations - $4.14 million in Hampton Roads. This is just the budget in use last winter season in Virginia. Last season Virginia spent approximately 10 million dollars a day in snow removal the number is astronomical for the rest of the east coast. (Maryland, Washington, Delaware, New Jersey and New York) We will sell snow removal contracts year round to set up our winter season and sell them like insurance. Contracts will be sold in advance. Example: ($100. Per removal. Sell contracts for a determined amount of removals per winter seasons 5 removals would be $500.00. If it only snows 3 times a seasons it is an Automatic $300. Profit. If it snows more than 5 times a season there is an addional charge of a specified amount agreed upon by SRB and the client. Once again a profit). Although this being a very serious matter in winter storms we at SRB Construction & Management Co. feel we can be an great asset to the country and mainly the east coast when it is in need. I been from northern east coast I have extensive experience in snow removal. And it will also give people jobs that are needed and in the same time giving SRB Construction & Management Co. an opportunity in becoming one of the successful businesses this country needs in these trouble times. The funds needed are for licenses, insurance, incorporating, tools, office materials, and vehicles.
