Description: In December 2012, the 3rd Edition of OVERTURE by ARTS FOR A BETTER WORLD (which was included in the Official  Art Basel Miami Beach Program in 2011),  was staged during Art Basel Miami Beach, the country's largest and most successful contemporary art fair, which attracts annually more  than 50,000 of the world's most important art collectors, over 1,500 journalists, and many celebrities and opinion leaders . Now a well established brand and concept, Overture ambitions  to present quality works and its innovative approach in other countries. While it has a great interest in the developments and art from new geographies, the OVERTURE Art Fair is dedicated to presenting major trends from around the world. Overture is much more than a basic presentation of artworks to be sold: It is a Fine Art Exhibition with a Soul, a Vision, and a Curatorial Statement In addition to the regular program of an Art Fair, Overture presents:   - A spectacular Vernissage ( music, entertainment, Food, drinks…)   - A Collectors' Dinner ( unique inside a Art Fair)   - A Social Responsibility component    - As well as Private events, dedicated school and university tours, art breakfasts, live happenings, conferences, round tables Corporate and institutional partners  also benefit from  the opportunity to interact with high profile attendees via events, workshops, conferences, receptions, artistic live happenings, in an elegantly designed exhibition space.   International in scope and vision, ARTS FOR A BETTER WORLD develops projects and produces philanthropic events through key partnerships with corporations, luxury brands, foundations, and the arts community at large. Overture is the only international art fair that promotes Corporate  Social Responsibility. Several indicators are very encouraging for the future. In the 3rd year of operation, as had been planned, we were able to reach a record number of visitors (30,000, up from 13,000 in 2011 !), a much higher standard of exhibitors, and sponsors of national and international caliber, focusing on high net worth individuals, such as Wells Fargo or Chopard.
