Description:
(URL removed)e gallery is a center of creativity. Our business offers the retail of art from local artists of all ages and mediums, rental space for venues, photography services, Drop-in Studio Space (for the artists), and most importantly, creative learning programs (art instruction/activity classes) for children ages 5-17. We also offer drop in art classes for the adults.
Currently, the arts community in Calgary is evolving and (URL removed)e gallery is just starting to be a part of the movement, already attracting the aspiring and the established artists locally and nationally. Although our economy isn't at its highest standing point, the volume of interest from students and artists only projects the success of our long term goal.
Our long term goal is to expand our vision for creative learning programs globally. Take a group of local artists of different mediums and travel abroad to another country, instill creativity in the lives of children, exhibit their art work here in Calgary to raise money for their school, town, or country. All the while, (URL removed)e gallery in Calgary maintains its services.
Our series of upcoming fundraisers are to support charity organizations close to heart and to keep our center alive.
These fundraisers are supported by local artists, musicians (Jocelyn Alice, DJ Phenom, Axis of Conversation, Los Morenos, The Dudes, Dojo Workhorse, etc), businesses (Leela Eco Spa, Awaken Shakti Yoga, Ceili's Irish Pub, Urban Computer Jungle Graphics, etc). We are grateful for their support and we are asking for the support of more Calgarians.
