My parnter and myself want to purchase a homecare agency that I have worked in for the past 20 plus years.
We had an agreement in place and had a problem getting funding because of the present economy. We lacked collatoral except for business assets. The franchise we want to purchase does 2 mil plus per year. We got a private investor but Interim Healthcare (the franchise company) would not approve him. He has a another healthcare co. and they thought he would be competition. So we are looking for 500,000 plus the ability to have a credit line to purchase this business. My partner and I know that we can continue the success of the company and make a loan payment.
The company grew 19% over the past year with me as the administrator. We also have another small business that we need minimal funding for.
Our healtcare Partners name and S corp was established in order to purchase the company. We were ready to close on the deal when the funding fell thro.
