ARIADNE
We are seeking a USD 1,000,000.00 private placement providing start-up and seed level operating capital for Ariadne, an international electronic news production service located in Los Angeles, California.
THE PRODUCT
Ariadne is an international news production service providing pre-formatted, pre-edited and pre-written national and international news content to broadcast and cable television stations, IPTV channels, Mobile TV channels, web sites, newspapers and magazines via a web based, secure visual interface.
Ariadne additionally serves as a portal for news content distribution, a clearing house for footage, documentaries and news content; and an interactive market for journalists, media and providers of related products and services.
USE OF FUNDS
Funds are to be used to incorporate Ariadne in the state of California, issue stock, acquire copyrights and trademarks, purchase domain names, launch a website, contract executive management, pay intial labor and materials costs, purchase computers and edit systems and author the prototype of the Ariadne software and interface. Funds are also used to incorporate in Europe and acquire business licenses there.
The focus of the above is to present the Ariadne network model to selected television station group executive management, with a view to securing beta test contracts with multiple station groups, newspaper publishers and broadcasters on both continents.
WHO WE ARE
Ariadne was conceived of and created by a veteran team of award winning broadcast journalists and engineers from Fox News, CBS News, CNN and NBC in order to address a serious need in their industry.
This team assembled a roster of professional associations and an available talent pool of award winning journalists, artists, executives and engineers from every major broadcast network publisher, cutting edge technology firms, banking and advertising.
Each member of the management team has over 20 years experience in broadcast television journalism and/or telecommunications. All have worked at the national and international level with major media corporations and Fortune 500 companies. They covered major national and international news events, designed innovative technologies being used by industries today, some have produced major international broadcasts and broken historic news events.
As a group we have multiple Edward R. Murrow awards, several Peabody awards, numerous Emmy awards and countless other awards for journalism excellence in the US and in Europe.
OUR MARKET
Ariadne provides services to broadcast television, print and emerging electronic media such as IPTV, Mobile TV and Digital Signage. Upon receipt of seed round funding, Ariadne will complete its software model for presentation to major television station group executive management, print media ownership and major media companies. Ariadne executive management is already in discussions with these firms.
INVESTOR'S EXIT
Ariadne executive management is already in discussion with second round investors and major clients. Given the inherent high-visibility of the business model, and ability to scale quickly, Ariadne management anticipates an acquisition by a major media company, or major investment by same, within twenty-four months, possibly even sooner.
