COMPANY: Our professionally experienced production team and I are producing a film based on the action/adventure novel 'I LOVE PARIS' by P.L. Hawks. Some of the notable actors already attached to the project include Bruce Dern (Nebraska, The Cowboys), Clarence Gilyard (Top Gun, Walker Texas Ranger), Nancy Stafford (Scandal, Matlock), Cory Oliver (Queen Esther, Beverly Hills Pawn,) and Gary Hershberger (Sneakers, Twin Peaks).
THE FILM INDUSTRY: Generating theatrical revenues of over $34 billion last year alone, the film industry is both recession-proof and constantly expanding. Independent films now hold a major percentage of the overall box office.
R.O.I: The investors representing the equity for this project gain a return of 120% followed by a 50/50 split with the LLC, based on their pro rata share of common equity ownership in the film.
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT: Two time Oscar nominee Bruce Dern is anxiously awaiting his participation in this exciting film as one of the leads. As well as Clarence Gilyard, Christine Lakin, Cory Oliver, Gary Hershberger, Nancy Stafford, and William Fichtner.
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY: Joel Ransom. His films include Steven Spielberg's 'Band of Brothers', 'Frontera', 'Shanghai Noon', 'Taken', 'Battle Star Galactica'.
SPECIAL EFFECTS SUPERVISOR: Kevin Hannigan. His films include Tom Cruise' 'Valkyrie', 'The Mask of Zorro', 'The Good German', 'Oceans Eleven', 'Oceans Twelve', 'Oceans Thirteen', 'Jack Reacher'.
STUNT COORDINATOR: Vic Armstrong. His films include 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', 'Indiana Jones and Temple of Doom', 'Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade', 'Superman', 'The Amazing Spider-man', 'Johnny English Strikes Again', 'Thor'.
DEVELOPMENT: My team and I plan to shoot the majority of the film in Dallas Texas. The polished screenplay has recently been presented and approved by the Texas Film Commission and the Dallas Film Commission and the state is very eager for us to bring the production to the famous city. All film rights to the book have been procured; locations in the city of Dallas are currently being scouted by the production designer. All involved are eager to begin!
