Description:
Boogeymanagement(tm) began as myself, Rob Ray, offering consulting and actor/builder services to Haunted House-themed venues accross the US. I am a former employee of major theme parks (3+ years with Disneyland's Attractions Dept., among others) and a longtime member of the International Association of Haunted Attractions. After years of involvement in the industry "circles," I've been recieving many recommendations that I produce and/or direct my own haunted attraction.
Recently, I've settled in Frederick, MD, an area that is primed for it's own seasonal, professionally-run haunt. There is only one comparable "high-end" haunted attraction within an hour's travel, and the demographics in this and surrounding counties fit in very well with the national trends of the growth in Halloween spending. In fact, most of my peers in business, attractions or otherwise, are surprised that this area hasn't yet seen such a venue.
I began reconaissance for suitable properties in February of 2008, and have come across many viable options beyond the ubiquitous old warehouse or strip-mall. In fact I'm very close to securing the blessings of more than one local property owner in return for proceeds. It is now time to start cultivating relationships with prospective Angels who can realize that the project I'm spearheading "has legs..."
