I am in process of starting a web based real estate business where people ( homowners, landlords, property managment companies ) can list there homes or apartments for sale online on there own without the help of a real estate agent or broker. People will have the opportunity to save thousands of dollars by selling the house themselves or saving hundreds of dollars by listing an apartment on there own and not having to pay a broker's fee. Newspapes ads are becoming more and more obsolete and people are gearing more to online to view and search for houses. In the beginning, the first year all listings will be free to gain exposure and build up our database, but after a year or so we will start to charge a small fee to gain revenue. The more listings we receive, the more revenue we will receive. The opportunity is definitely there if we get our name out there and become an online industry player.
