Description:
We are looking to create a non-profit teen mentoring program. In this program at risk or not at risk teens will be mentored in business. The business model is based on a custom pool cue foundation. Teens will be afforded the opportunity to learn by hands on mentoring in the areas of; but not limited to:
Design - Using and learning multiple software applications (Corel, Adobe and Auto-Cad to name a few.)
Production - Using and learning multiple tools and skills of building a custom pool cue.
Engineering - Using and learning multiple software and tools aiding them in the developement of new tools and equipment for building pool cues.
Sales - Learning the art of selling with ethics by selling the pool cues that are made by the program. Earned income will then be used to keep the oporation running, paying back investments and donating to charities.
Marketing - Learn how to market online as well as off.
Administrative - Learn how to run a business from the inside out.
These kids will basically learn real world business skills and social skills that will be needed to become successful at whatever life journeys they partake in.
We will also bring in speakers for mock board meetings the teens will run.
This is basically a teen business prep mentoring non-profit orginization that needs to happen and if I can help it will happen!
