Shyloh Venture Group, Inc. was formed in March of 2008 to publish and market children's books written by published author, Bob Haar. His previous published work is "Come Lord Jesus Be Our Guest" a book of poems and prayers available on (URL removed). Mr. Haar has written his latest book, "A Prayer from Little Joe" which tells the story, through words and illustrations, of a ten year old boy in the year 1900 who helps his widowed mother make ends meet by shining shoes in the village square on Saturdays. The book is number 1 is a series of Little Joe books which continue his adventures and all of the interesting people he encounters along his journey. This book is faith-based and is meant as a bedtime story for pre-school and young readers. Book two has already been written. Book One is ready to published by Pleasant Word Publishing.
The corporation is in need of start-up funding of $50,000, which will cover printing costs, a website marketing campaign; a pulicity campaign with a noted book marketing agent; and costs for setting up shop; complete with CPA firm; and a business credit consulting service. The firm will entertain offers of an equity partnership or funding through a business start-up loan with reasonable terms. Units(books) sold will be in the 1,000-2,000 range per month, giving the firm an initial income of $10,000-20,000 dollars per month will incremental increases per month as more "Little Joe" books are published.
