The LemonCello will be owned, developed and operated by Cordial-Hospitality, LLC a Florida limited liability company wholly owned by Robert E.L. Walters and John W. Scheffel in equal partnership. Mr. Scheffel, a graphic designer with extensive retail and hospitality design experience, will be working outside the business and as a result, over 80% of the managerial duties will fall to Mr. Walters. Mr. Walters for his part is a professional manager with more than fifteen years’ experience at the director and officer levels. Some of Mr. Walters’ more notable accomplishments are supervising a $4 million second-round financing for BizBash Media as its general manager and then negotiated their first licensing agreement which resulted in BizBash Florida and BizBash Canada; his launching of Trust Family, an independent funeral director association based in New York. And his last minute operational take-over of fifty events related to the 2004 Republican National Convention during his tenure as Chief Financial Officer for Max Consulting and Memorable Events. This will be Mr. Walters’ third business venture having been managing partner of a successful bar in San Juan, Puerto Rico and the former owner of a project management consultancy in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Walters served on the 1999 transition team of then incoming Baltimore mayor, Martin O’Malley. Mr. Walters and Mr. Scheffel have been life-partners for over seven years and will be residing on property.
At this time Cordial-Hospitality, LLC has completed its feasibility study of this project, secured the necessary architect, engineers and contractors, selected all furnishings and received tacit approval from the city of Saint Petersburg regarding its parking plan. The only remaining steps are the raising of capital and the execution of this business plan as written.
