Description:
We are a hybrid version of a "local" search based directory/advertising platform, which focuses on selling the business and its location(s) by giving the power back to the consumers. The consumers choose the product or services, which they are searching for based on “from where” not “for what.” (e.g. “We sell Best Buy or Joe’s electronics and not iPODS”). We plan on capitalizing on the newly minted internet business model, which is giving people "what they what when they want it". At the same time, we provide what everyone is looking for specifically due to the current economic conditions, which is an unprecedented level of value and liquidity for consumers and business alike.
Our goal is to create a viral community based in value that competes with the household brand names like the YellowBook online and Citysearch in the directory services category and with Newspapers, phonebooks, and other forms of print marketing in the "Local" advertising market. The primary goal is to sell advertising and directory services with the actual agenda being the creation of invaluable information for businesses small and large on the individual location level. The true beauty of all of this is that we plan on doing so primarily at the "cost-of-doing-business" essentially becoming a virtually free form of advertising & directory services for small and large business equally.
We have a completed professional business plan, with very strong potential numbers and are currently looking for “A” round venture funding to bring this to fruition. This is truly a well thought out business model which is both unique and necessary based upon our current economic situation and will flourish in our new global economy. If we are only minimally successful in our quest, we will change consumer buying habits as well as business (small and large) advertising practices and needs. We will do so all the while creating an environmentally and socially responsible medium, which will replace the need for newspapers, phone books and potentially even the Better Business Bureau. We believe that by following our plan we will successfully bridge the elusive gap between the internet and local advertising, doing so by using time proven methods of relationship marketing and emerging technologies simultaneously.
