Business sector & forecasting:- Bangladesh has the following category export garments: Knitwear garments factory --- 1800+ Woven garments factory --- 2500+ Sweater garments factory --- 500+ Among all these knitwear garments, only 15% has their own dyeing & fabric making factory. Rest of the 85% Knitwear garments dye & source their fabrics from the independent dye houses & fabric making plants. Among all these woven garments, only 5% has their own dyeing & fabric making factory. Rest of the 95% woven garments source their fabrics from outside of the country or from the independent dye houses & fabric making plants. My projected factory will supply the dyed finished fabrics for these 85% Knitwear garments & 95% woven garments. These garments & textile sectors are my main customer/market. Demand for Knitted finished fabrics:- Annual demand 1438.46M kg dyed fabrics Current dyeing capacity 330.85M kg fabrics by other HT dyeing factory. Balance demand 1107.62M kg fabrics to dye with a 20% growth rate. Our factory capacity will be 9.36 million kg fabrics to dye per year. Demand for Woven finished fabrics:- Woven fabrics --- 6000M+ meter fabrics in all types. Denim, Cotton & Polyester demand --- 3000M meter Among these we will produce only Denim, Cotton, Polyester & few mixed type. Our factory capacity will be 62Million meter fabrics per year. How this factory will support the customer:- Knitted fabric section – will provide dyed finished fabrics. This section will produce dyed fabrics by using automatic computerized knitting & HTHP dyeing & finishing machinery. a) This section will save customer’s working lead time at least 15 days by supplying finished fabrics from one plant/point. b) This section will give the high fabric quality requirements of the customers because of having world class machinery in the plant. c) This will also save customer’s 5% money by supplying quality fabrics at one point. Woven fabric section – will provide dyed finished fabrics. This section will produce dyed fabrics by using automatic computerized weaving & HTHP dyeing & finishing machinery. a) This section will save customer’s working lead time at least 30 days by supplying finished fabrics from one plant/point. Customers will be in no need to source the fabrics from outside of the country. b) This section will give the high fabric quality requirements of the customers because of having world class machinery in the plant. c) This will also save customer’s 7% money by supplying quality fabrics at one point. In Bangladesh, here are several dyeing factories/houses. Among these dyeing factories, only 15% are having HTHP dyeing machine. This is not atall sufficient to support the knitwear garment’s demand for fabric on time & right quality. This type of HTHP dyeing machine gives the required quality as per the high quality requirements of the EU & USA market. So, HTHP dyeing machines have heavy work load/demand. Balance 85% dyeing factories are having open box system local made manual dyeing machine. This machine can’t give fabric quality like HTHP automatic machine. Income collection matters of this plant:- This type of plant has very good full capacity work orders & payments. Always in high demand with customers & secure payments. Goods delivery & payment collection will be through confirmed L/C or cash basis. At the time of over loaded work orders, payments will be received in advance. 1st option -- Customers will give yarn & L/C for their finished fabrics 2nd option – Customers will give total L/C for finished fabrics Market Figure Analysis:- Knitted fabric making & dyeing: It's an US$1582.31M dollar fabric dyeing market in Bangladesh. Quantity 1438.46M kg fabric to make & dye per year (Growth rate 20% +) In Jul’ 07 – June 08, Bangladesh exported US$ 5532.52 million valued knitwear garments (Growth rate 21.5% then previous year, current year’s growth rate 26.17%). To produce US$ 5532.52 million valued knitwear garments, it requires US$ 3596.14 million valued knitted fabrics (65% of total value), quantity 1438.46M kg. Woven fabric making & dyeing: Woven garments export were US$ 5168.66M at financial year 2007-2008 Woven fabrics demand were 6000M+ meter including all types. Denim, Cotton & Polyester demand were 3000M meter 50% of total. Local domestic market demand has more than 5(five) billion meter weaved fabrics per year. Fabric printing woven & knit: The 4000 export garments in Bangladesh are this section’s potential customers. This section will also get work orders from its own dyeing section. This section will also get work orders from local market, which has more than 250M meter good quality printed fabrics demand. Marketing: After opening this fully automatic computerized fabric making & HTHP dyeing plant, it only needs to be introduced with the knitwear & woven garments about its existence in the textile processing market. It will take 1/2 months to be introduced with the export garments. It can be done by personal visit or by posting of the factory profile to the garments. For having HTHP dyeing machinery, it will get sufficient work order in Bangladesh market by first 3 months only. Afterwards, it has to maintain the serial to handle the over work load. Summary of the study: 1)Plant will be equipped with the fully automatic computerized European & world renowned manufacturer made dyeing-finishing, knitting, weaving, printing & sizing machinery. 2)Ready market of dyed knit fabric US$ 1582.31 million dollar with 20% growth rate. 3)Woven fabrics for export woven garments & local US$ 300M by weaving charge. 4)Printed fabrics for export garments & local US$ 140M by printing charge. 5)Quantity 1438.46 million kg knit fabrics making & dyeing market available. 6)Quantity 4000.00 million meter woven fabric’s weaving market available. 7)Quantity 500.00 million meter fabric printing market available. 8)Well placed land & easy transportation available. 9)Gas, electricity, other fuel & water available at projected place. 10)Project is near to maximum export textile units & local markets in Bangladesh. 11)Labor force & all necessary required raw materials are available.
