I started this business a year after Hurricane Katrina devastated new Orleans, both because I lost my job (and my car and my apartment) in the storm and to help with storm recovery. Although much has been rebuilt, there is still much, much more work left to do. I need some investment capital to expand the business to hire employees and obtain the equipment needed to meet the overwhelming demand for both new construction and renovation work. If, for instance, I can obtain an investment of say, $5,000-$10,000(or more) I can expand the business quickly enough to recover that amount within 6 months (or perhaps even recover it on one job).
