We have planted 30 acres and will harvest 320 this year and all 30 in 2012. We plan to plant at least 60 acres on our 175 acre farm that has been in the family for over 200 years. Our vineyard was developed by a 3rd generation vineyard manager from Bordeaux.
Our winemaking consultant has studied/worked around the world and made a “100 Point” Merlot while at Paul Hobbs in California.
Our financial advisor is Greg Dillon, President of Dillon Development Partners and the former CFO of the Washington Redskins under the late Jack Kent Cooke. For more information about lending or investing, please contact Mr. Dillon directly at (Phone # removed).
We are seeking about $1.6-1.7m in private financing so as to qualify for an SBA-504 loan. This financing can come in the form of a “hard money” loan or an equity investment. Once we receive the funding, we should be able to secure the SBA loan within 8-12 months at the latest.
