Flynn's Foods was established in August of 2002 to capitalize on the popularity of Flynn's Gourmet Garlic Sauce. Produced initially in the founder's residential kitchen, demand quickly surpassed ability to supply. In late 2003, production was moved to the former site of Mrs. Fearnow's Brunswick Stew cannery in Mechanicsville, Virginia. After establishment as a C Corporation, moderate amounts of equity were sold to finance capital improvements. As of late 2005, Flynn's is currently manufacturing and bottling seven products. An additional sauce is to be added in the 1st Quarter of 2006. These products are primarily sold to retail grocers through distributors.
