Five years ago I lost a dear friend to cancer. During her last few months of life she had to have a colostomy. As her primary care giver it was up to me to hand the bag changes and attempt to control the leakage and breakage of the bags. As a result, I spent the last 4 years going through several product developers designing a superior upgrade to the concept of body waste collection for ostomates.
I currently have a design that is 80% complete. The minimal cost to finish this design and prototype the product is the next step.
I am looking for someone who either is an ostomate or understands the loss of dignity and limitations the current bag system offers.
I am currently living in my van in Sadler, Texas working at various horse ranches while I attempt to continue moving forward with the product design.
I expect most investors will just go past this (URL removed)ess they truly understand the medical condition my product addresses. The premise is: Allow that teenager who wants to play football but is afraid of getting hit and making a mess able to go out and play as hard as any other player on the field. Accomplishing this goal means the product is ready for any ostomate to use with confidence.
I can't offer a 'corporate' (URL removed)'s just me with a great new medical device that can take ostomates into the 21st Century with dignity.
