Description:
Maker of unique films for all audiences combining humor, moral dilemma, myth, music, allegory, and internal drama. "Babu," for example, which is subtitled "A Polish Christmas Eve with Grandma in New Jersey," brings together family members, each of whom is struggling with his or her own issue, into the home of the matriarch, who was a quiet hero during World War II.
