Description: Dana Montana is currently producing The Dancing Horses, a Las Vegas style horse show she has developed and is now putting on for the public at her family-friendly Animal Gardens ranch in Delevan, Wisconsin, just outside of Lake Geneva. It is a wonderful project, but struggling to make expenses. 30 years ago, Dana Montana was in a similar situation. After beginning her adult professional career as a Playboy Bunny in the 60's, Dana purchased a small club, The Sugar Shak, in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, coneived of and presented for the first time, male exotic dancing, yest struggled to make expenses until an article "Naughty Night Life" in the Chicago Sun-Times, in 2979 turned the Sugar Shack experience into a regional phenomenon and became a somewhat "naughty" symbol for a significant wave in the American Feminist Movement that took place during the 80s. The Sugar Shack thrived for years and Dana Montana became rich and famous. That was then. During the last 15 years interest in male exotic dancing has been on the decline as American women settled into their hard won feminist gains. Dana turned her attention to her lifelong love of animals and horses and established Animal Gardens, and The Dancing Horses stage show. Again, Dana needs a media spotlight to turn things around for her Dancing Horses show that is struggling to fill the arena seats with enough paying customers to make the venture a success. Back in the 80's when Dana and her dancers were on all the major television and radio talk shows, a film was not produced nor was her book published. Today, there is interest. Last week I met with Dana Montana for a meeting to discuss the negotiations with New York producer, Mr. Lee Levinson, to have a film made about Dana's life. We're also planning to update the manuscript for her book to include the new "passage" in her extraordinarily creative and productive life, The Dancing Horses. The only holdup, the $60,000 needed to get the project off the ground with Mr. Levinson's production group. We're looking for some venture capital willing to provide the startup funds and also willing to accept a negotiable percentage of the back-end profits once the film is made about Dana's life.
