Lite For Life is a weight loss/consulting and lite food market franchise. We specialize in helping Type II Diabetics. Mine is the first in Florida. There are now 4 operating in the state. The company is 30 years old, but very new to franchising!! I have completed the first year in business and need operating capital to continue. Being a female with a new business, obtaining a loan for this business was not possible. I financed the business creatively with credit cards in anticipation that sales would allow repayment in a timely fashion. What I didn't realize was the impact that the 3 "non-season" months in the first year would have. Now I am in a "lose it all" situation going into the busiest season of the year because of those 3 less than great months last year. In addition, the lack of operating capital has now caught up and I find that I am in a near impossible situation. Being the entrepreuner that I am, I don't believe in the impossible, so I am reaching out here at GoBig in the hopes of finding an investor who sees value in what I am doing and is willing to help out.
