The Gift Map and Gift Mark are two new concepts for the marketing of gift cards. The Gift Map is a computer designed and generated, not to scale, map of a genuine geographic location. On this map are five gift cards, attached relative to where the retailers are actually located in that region. The Gift Mark is basically a simplified version of that concept. It looks like an over-sized book mark with a design on one side, and the gift cards on the other- placed one above the other. The Gift Map and Gift Mark add a unique and personal element to the growing gift card industry by being themed towards a specific individual or occasion. This is accomplished through the use of different business combinations.
