Description: Business Description: Jeramie Miller started Miller Lowline Angus Ranch (MLAR) as a sole proprietorship in 2003 and purchased three 1/2-Lowline, one full-size commercial Angus bull, and 40 full-size commercial cows. In January 2005 he purchased Fairwyn's Power, a fullblood Lowine bull and MLAR's current senior herd sire. Until 2007, when Randi joined the operation, the ranch operated as a commercial cow/calf operation, selling all calves at weaning. With Randi's administrative and marketing, the operation started as a seedstock producer and began marketing breeding stock along with beef. Together the team has 60+ years experience with cattle and in the industry. The current location of MLAR is on the western slope of Colorado, about 70 miles south of Grand Junction. MLAR will be relocated to Missouri once funding is received. Mission and Vision: MLAR is dedicated to producing cattle that give customers the ability to be profitable, sustainable, and meet consumer demand, while practicing good land stewardship, being environmentally conscious, and treating our cattle humanely, giving them proper care and respect. Goals: - Be a self-sustainable, profitable cattle operation. Unique Value Proposition: The value of MLAR is determined by its products' value and how efficiently it can produce those products. Percentage Lowline cattle require half the resources as commercial cattle, allowing MLAR to double its capacity without increasing resource expenditures exponentially; better use of the resources through holistic management allows for an even greater capacity.
