Randsom Keiths reproductions (Giclee) have been sold consistently for the last 6 yrs. Receiving $150.00 to $400.00 per signed print under representation. Many of my pieces have sold well over $65,000.00 in reproduction sales.
I have done pieces for many notable people such as: Ty Warner owner of TY Toys, and Larry Pogofsky co-owner of the Chicago White Sox, endorsed by the signature of Bo Diddley, Brain Urlacher and many others to mention.
I was a resident artist for World Class Art Corp. for 5 years. I created hundreds etchings, and paintings in all mediums big and small most of which were sports and music icons, all sold well as reproductions. During that time I realized there company overhead left little profit for me personally. After watching them sell thousands of my prints and still receiving so little in return, I decided to go on my own and market myself.
I have worked relentlessly on achieving an image suitable by an online standpoint. Considering at least 70% of my clients would be online costumers and the other 30% would be marketed to galleries and other store fronts. At the moment I am subject to outsourcing the printing of the reproductions at a high cost, leaving me with a small percent of the final sale. I need to print the art work myself.
I produce on an average of 250 paintings a year. I can reproduce them as signed prints in a series of 200 @ $150.00 - $400.00 per print Along with plate signed open edition prints anywhere from $10-$40.00 pending on size and substrate.
Reproductions will be marketed through at least 10 of the most popular art hosting websites (I currently have 6 operating); from there I will link and direct customers to my personal site. The home site will have more information about reproductions and direct access to the artist with exclusive prints that the other sites won’t be selling.
I AM LOSING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS A MONTH BECAUSE I SIMPLY DON’T HAVE THE PRINTING EQUIPTMENT TO REPRODUCE MY WORK! I
