Description: Purpose: To raise $150,000, to be used to develop two sales-tax websites - one in New York and one in Georgia. (URL removed) will provide web based tax preparation software. It will be based on the business model of (URL removed), a profitable company I launched ten years ago, which grossed $1million. The investors wanted to take advantage of the profit on their investment, and chose to sell. I want to build another success. At first I did it all: customer service, online marketing, tradeshows; all of which required a high level of product knowledge of the efile sales tax platform's features and benefits. I also developed excellent working relations with the California Board of Equalization, assisting them on several occasions with their own sales tax website. As we grew, I was able to contract and supervise (time sensitive, high pressure) programming for sales tax websites in three other states (Colorado, Florida and Illinois). I also utilized Fogbugz to manage a data base of current and potential clients. I have the technical knowledge, the management and people skills, and the experience of launching a start-up. I look forward to talking with you about investing.
