Description:
Heal the Heart Bi- Monthly Networking Series is a Bi-Monthly Networking Event Raising $5,000 or more for families who have lost children due to gun violence! It is a unique networking cocktail party/photo shoot charity event held in Chicago, IL and we are looking to spread if all over the US within the next three years.
It is a 2-day event with DAY 1 hosting a semi-private VIP elite guest list of about 150 people and DAY 2 being a little more open to the public (even though most tickets for this event are sold in advance and participants have to submit information about themselves/their companies before being allowed entry) with anywhere between 250-1,000 guests depending on the venue we use.
Guests are typically venue owners/managers, videographers, photographers, models (urban, runway, glamour, print, commercial, etc), promoters, brand ambassadors, singers, rap artists, poets, magazine editors/contributors, blog/content writers, etc.
In addition to being an innovative event because it is for a great cause and is a breeding ground for making useful connections, there are always 4-5 photographers offering onsite photo shoots in which guests are given about 25 different photos and one edited photo per photographer they shoot with (which could be one photographer or all of them)! Different photographers also feature different looks and scenery which means patrons of the event make awesome connections, have fun and gain great photos with different looks to use for promotional pieces or expand a portfolio all in one place! Two videographers are also present to take footage and conduct interviews, business/product/service reviews for patrons present or our sponsors and to record DVDs that are sold to some patrons looking to remember a fun night!
We want this series to make a stronger presence twice a month as it helps people find work/network and helps families who have all-of-a-sudden lost loved ones due to gun violence and need money to help with funeral costs, marches/awareness events or legal fees. Our goal for each event would be raising and giving a minimum of $5,000 to each family we throw an event for no later than 10 days after the event in the form of cash, check or money order.
There are many groups dedicated to stopping violence which is also a GREAT cause, but for immediate deaths it is important that individual families are remembered and it must be noted that they need money to go about things without suffering from both financial and familial losses. Thanks so much for your time and I really hope you all choose to be on board with such a great event.
