Description:
I feel it is now time to begin directing our abilities and incentive programs towards the development of Native American films. They have been a crucial part of the success of film in NM; making their lands available to film companies for shooting is no small contribution. The interest in the Native American culture is on the rise again and it is time to break trough the past stereotypes of the Native American character. We now have an opportunity to create a different image of the modern Native American and their behavior in the modern world.
